First of all, let’s download the Browser from the ROG Website.

• Go to the Official Republic of Gamers Asus.
• Click on Download Opera GX ROG Edition.

• The Installer will start to download.

• Once the installation is completed, run the installation file to install Opera GX Browser ROG Edition on your Windows 11 ROG Rig.

Now, we have the installer downloaded, let’s install this fantastic browser using the Installer. Kindly follow the steps below.

• Run the Setup File.
• The first step is to accept the Terms and Conditions of Opera’s EULA and Terms of Service. You can click Accept and Install accordingly.

• In the Next Step, we can adjust the Data Settings and Permissions. Opera provides you with a better and more personalized browsing experience and requests to collect data for various purposes like usage statistics, general interest, personalized content, news, and advertising. Once you choose your theme, you can click Next.

• In the next step, we can set Background Music, Browser Sounds, and even Keyboard Sounds. All these settings are applicable when the Opera GX application is active. You can configure your sounds of Opera GX as per your taste. If you don’t want any background music, then you can set it to None.

• Now, we can configure the sidebar options. In the first step, we can add Discord Integration to the Sidebar, which is very useful for Gamers.

• Next, we can check the Social Sidebar Integrations. Here, you can integrate your WhatsApp, X, Instagram, and Telegram. Easy Peasy.

• You can also import Browser Data from other Browsers like Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Arc, etc. This step is optional.

• The next step is very crucial. Here, you can control the Opera GX Browser resources like GX Control, Ad Blocker, GX Cleaner, Trackers, etc. I would suggest you keep all these options enabled, We will discuss these settings in detail later in this article.

GX Cleaner provides interacting functionality to keep the browser clean. You can clean Cache, Cookies, Tabs, Browsing history, etc., in style. There are three predefined cleanup templates, Minimum, Medium, and Maximum. You can click on Start Cleaning to clean up the Opera GX Browser in style.

There are several perks added to the ROG Edition that will work better with ROG Laptops. For instance, Opera GX Browser can sync with the ROG Aura keyboard. Right now, as per my theme, my ROG keyboard is full Red, once I quit the Opera GX, then the Aura Keyboard will revert to its previous settings of Rainbow pattern. Additionally, you have some special ROG Wallpapers, Anime Backgrounds, etc.

If you are using other Gaming Laptops, Opera GX ROG edition will continue to work, however, you may not be able to enjoy its complete functionality. Either way, Opera GX is a interesting project from the Opera.
