Enable Mono Audio on Windows 11: Microsoft offers a wide range of accessibility features on Windows 11, from Mono Audio, Magnifier, High Contrast Mode, to Closed Captions for Videos, Speech Recognition, and more. In the Mono Audio Feature, Windows combines the left and right audio channels (stereo channels) into a single channel. This ensures that users don’t miss any part of the audio, making the listening experience clear.

Why Mono and Stereo Audio Channels work
How do Mono and Stereo Audio Channels work?

Actually speaking, Stereo Audio generally provides a richer and more immersive listening experience as it separates the sounds to different channels and makes us think of music where effects come from different directions. In Mono Audio, the sounds are not separated into different channels, and all channels play the same sounds.
