The troubleshooter we are talking about here is Windows Media Player Legacy App and not the modern Media Player application. Here are some of the effective methods to run Windows Media Player Troubleshooter on Windows 11.
- Using Windows Settings.
- Via the Run Command.
Run Windows Media Player (Legacy App) Troubleshooter using Windows Settings
- Open Windows Settings using the keyboard combination WinKey + I.
- In the Windows Settings, click on System from the left pane.

- Scroll down and locate Troubleshoot. Open Troubleshoot.

- Under Options, you can find “Other Troubleshooters“. Click on that.

- Here, you can find various troubleshooting options like Audio, Network, Internet, and Background Intelligent Transfer Service, and more. Under Other, you can find the option “Windows Media Player“.

- The Get Help window will open now. The Get Help option will display the following message. “We can help diagnose your problem by running the Windows Media Player troubleshooter.
